Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award
The Marin County Human Rights Commission sponsors the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Awards presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the areas of human rights and social justice. On January 12, 2017, The commission honored adults as well as high school seniors who have made a positive impact in the Marin County community. The adult awardees select a non-profit to receive up to $1000 stipend in their name. The youth awardees will receive a scholarship of $1,000 for post-secondary education.
